Please stop. Everything will be alright. We're not going to hurt you.

Nothing like a little weekend exposure to "films before I was famous"...so we rounded off the weekend last night with a dose of THX 1138. Great film. Kept looking for John Whipple, but didn't see him.

How did this come from the same man who thought Jar-Jar Binks was a good idea?

It's really nothing like how closed and decided Star Wars is, is it? I haven't seen that for a while, I'll have to watch it again soon.
It was very influential visually, wasn't it?

Hi!

Some people just LOSE it when they get older! It is sad. Hopefully, he will redeem himself with this third installment...but I am not holding my breathe!

Jack- VERY visual. That's my favorite thing about it. The new "digitally enhanced" version is great.

Julie- I sure hope he redeems himself. The trailers look promising, but as a friend on my email list said, "No matter what his faults, George Lucas makes the best trailers ever."

On a side note, I find it hilarious that on the imdb.com summary for George Lucas, they DO NOT mention in "TV appearances" his portrayal on the Simpsons!
