What if, instead of the normal New Year's resolutions...("I will never eat again." "I will run 100 miles a day." "I will be really nice to everybody all the time.")....yes, instead of those, what if you just pledge to learn something random and new every year, and spend that whole year on it, and then move on the next year to a completely different skill.
Like this year, I'll learn to play guitar.
Next year, I'll learn to knit.
2007, stunt driving.
Maybe it wouldn't be easier, but it would be so much more fun.
By 2008, I could be knitting guitar cases while driving off cliffs. How's that for a cure for boredom and discontent?

I think that's way better. You've GOT to do it.
I kinda did that last year. This next year I'm going to finish it. Yay for us!
Yay for us! Now I just have to pick something....I can't afford stunt driving school just yet. ;-(
I hope I can keep in touch with you until 2008... THAT is something to look forward to. And if my calculations are correct, with my annual goals met each year until then, I should be the omnipotent ruler of space, time, and exsistence by then.
Damn, my goals look puny next to yours!
